About This Site
Free Solar Panels Worcester is an information resource and installer-matching service for Worcester and our listed Central Massachusetts communities. It is not a solar installer or financing provider.
What “free” means here
The assessment request and quote comparison are free to the homeowner. The panels, equipment and installation are paid products and services. Our brand is the name of this information and comparison service; it does not promise that panels are provided free.
How matching works and how the site may be funded
When you submit a quote request, the details go through our lead-delivery service for processing and sharing with independent partner solar companies. Those companies may contact you about your home and solar options. More than one company may contact you; matching, quotes and outcomes are not guaranteed.
We may be compensated when a request is passed to partner companies. You choose whether to engage with a provider, compare its proposal or enter an agreement. We do not perform installations, approve financing, grant permits or authorize utility interconnection.
Read our Privacy Policy for collection and sharing details. Use Do Not Sell or Share to prepare an email privacy request. You must send the email yourself; opening the link does not submit it.
Editorial standards
We use primary authorities: the City of Worcester, Massachusetts DOER, DPU and DOR, the Massachusetts State Building Code, MassCEC, Mass Save, the serving utility and the IRS. We exclude installer marketing pages, lead-generation rankings and aggregator blogs as evidence for program or local approval claims.
We link sources beside factual guidance and distinguish verified general rules from questions that require an answer for your property. Our incentives guide’s unverified-programs section is a concrete example: SMART intake and property-tax treatment are questions for the relevant authorities, not promised benefits.
We commit to reviewing our published guidance quarterly, with a visible Last reviewed date on each page. We also review corrections brought to our attention. A review date records a content review; it does not certify personal eligibility, installer availability or approval of a project.
“Free Solar Panels Worcester Team” is a publishing byline, not a credentialed individual. The site does not attribute tax, engineering or legal credentials to that byline. Seek the appropriate professional’s advice for your own circumstances.
Send corrections and source links to [email protected]. Identify the page, the statement and the official evidence you would like us to check. For service questions, contact us; for local approval questions, start with the Worcester process guide.
